Mrs. Gazdziak's Page: Computers & Technology
Hello and Welcome to Mrs. Gazdziak's page
on the St. Gall School website. Here you'll find
information on assignments and projects your
students are working on in my class, as well as
photos and information on all the
happenings here at St. Gall School. I hope
you'll continue to stop by and visit!
About Mrs. Gazdziak:
I have worked at St. Gall since Fall 2007
teaching Computer Science to Preschool
through 8th grade. I have a Bachelor's
degree in English, a minor in Theatre, and a
minor in Liberal Arts from
MacMurray
College, and I am a lifelong South Sider! I
went to St. Denis School for my elementary
education and
Queen of Peace for high
school. I am also a lifelong fan of reading
and the Chicago White Sox!
I love learning new things, and I've always
been a fan of technology--I love playing
around with computers and other gadgets
and figuring out how to make them work for
me. And, I'm almost embarrassed to admit
how badly I'd like an iPad! Touchscreen
technology? Yes, please!

Looking for ways to stop in
top of your computer skills
and keep in touch with
technology this summer? The
Chicago Public Library has
some great offerings at this
link! Local high schools are
also a great place to find
technology
summer camps!
I believe in the importance of reading
and writing well, so
all my assignments
have a writing component
. In every
class, students will practice and learn not
only basic computer skills, but also
Internet safety, website building, and
critical thinking.
Something all my students should know:
