Bienvenidos! Welcome to
the Reading Room. My
name is Mrs. Carol Adkins
and I teach reading to
children of all ages and
levels. Students come to
my room in groups and
individually.
I have been working here
at St. Gall for twelve
years. I love reading and
try to instill that love in
my students. I encourage
my classes to read every
night for at least 15
minutes. This is a proven
strategy for the
improvement of reading
scores.
I currently hold two
educational certificates.
One is for art education
and the other is for
elementary education. I
received my Bachelor of
Fine Arts degree from the
University of Illinois and my
elementary certificate
through St. Xavier University.
St. Gall is a wonderful
place and we constantly
strive for excellence. We
are privileged to do what
we do each and every day.
