Hello everyone! My name is Lissette Telumbre, I am the music teacher at St. Gall School. I am currently attending Northeastern University for my bachelors of Music Education and Instrumental Performance. I am from Chicago and I grew up in Gage Park neighborhood. I was sub director for the St. Gall 12:30 choir for six years. Some of my extra-curricular activities include performing special events with “Son Bohemio”, performing solos, singing at church, composing music and spending time with my family.
I also work for the National Museum of Mexican Art. I have been a music mentor for two years and I have taught an afterschool music program for three years as a musical artist. My major focus is helping students become active in their own development by using the arts and music. My goal is to help students build confidence and achieve their academic success.
