My name is Mrs. Martha Mullins. My hometown is Marks, Mississippi. I have a Liberal Arts Degree(focus Early Childhood), B.S. in Elementary Education, Master Degree in Special Education (focus Behavior and Learning Disabilities), and a Master in Educational Administration.
I have been at St.Gall for 10 years. I teach Preschool, but I have taught up to 4th Grade. Last year I taught Everyday Math to first and second graders. I cook and serve dinner to the community weekly at St. Eulalia Soup Kitchen. I help serve breakfast to the homeless every 2nd and 4th Saturday at Our Lady of Sorrows. I walk every year in the Y-Me Cancer walk and the CROP walk. I collect money to support these organizations.
Take fitness classes twice a week. I also walk every morning before school. I love to garden and watch movies on the weekend.
My philosophy is apparent to students, parents and administration because I'm always available to help out with any student or parent. My daily motivation is that God made all children special and as adults and teachers it is our job to keep children up-lifted so they can be motivated to do good in the world. I believe all children are born with an innate ability and as a teacher we are trained and educated to bring those special abilities and talents out to the light for everyone to see. I engage the whole child. Children ability to learn must be stimulated socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually.
