St. Gall School

Providing Catholic Education in Chicago, Illinois since 1910

The Sisters' Scholarship

In gratitude for the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary (SHHoM), who devoted their lives to teaching at St. Gall.

For many years, the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary were the heart of St. Gall School—serving as teachers, mentors, and role models. Their dedication to faith-based education left a lasting impact on generations of students. The Sisters’ Scholarship honors the legacy of the Servants of the Holy Heart of Mary, who dedicated themselves to the students and families of St. Gall beginning in 1923. These pioneering Sisters—Mother St. Agnes, Sister Mary Catherine, Sister Philomena, and Sister Mary of the Rosary—helped establish the school’s strong foundation of faith, service, and education.

This scholarship is awarded to a student who demonstrates kindness, a commitment to learning, and a spirit of service, this scholarship celebrates the values the Sisters lived every day.
